Can these plans be refunded?

Once your design is paid, finalized and set to be delivered, Tony will begin the process of preparing your build-ready home plans. Requests for refunds will be honored up until the point of delivery. However once your files are received, it will not be possible to refund these plans.

Is it better to modify an existing design or custom-design my home?

This largely depends on the amount of modifications you are looking to make, and what those modifications are. If you have any doubts, it is best to arrange a consultation to discuss what option would work best for you.

How long does it take to build a house? And how much?

These are generally questions for your contractor. The time it will take to build your home depends on many factors, including the complexity of your home design and the availability of labor. In terms of how much it will cost, your contractor will be able to provide you with estimates.

Can I request design modifications after I've received my finished plans?

Yes. If you have received your plans and there are some additional updates you would like to make, contact us to discuss your options. These changes will be subject to a $75 per hour design rate, and an estimate will be provided as to the hours it will take to complete your request.

How much will the plans for a custom-designed home cost?

It’s impossible to determine the exact cost of a custom-designed home. Designs are billed at $75 hourly, and will vary greatly depending on the complexity of your request. However, it is almost certain that pre-existing designs will cost less than custom-designs.

How can I find a reputable contractor?

For those looking to build within the Bethel area, Tony can direct you to any number of trusted contractors. If you are building elsewhere, local building supply stores are usually your best resource for finding reputable contractors.

I haven't purchased land yet, should i be purchasing a design now?

No. Homes are designed to work with the views and topography of the land they sit on. It is better to know where you are building first, so your home can work with the surrounding nature.

Is Tony an architect?

Although Tony has over 40 years experience as a contractor and home designer, he is not a licensed architect.
